In 1978 Jerry Tutt started a framing company called TC Builders and over the next 8 years Jerry and his partner framed up new homes in the north and northwest suburbs of Minneapolis.
In 1985 Jerry bought out his partner and changed the company name to TC Homes. It was at this time he changed from a subcontractor to home builder, producing his own homes.
Jerry’s sons Brian and Jason joined the company in 1993 and 1995 respectively. Today, Brian serves as president helping customers design their new home and Jason serves as a job site superintendent ensuring each new home continues the high level tradition of workmanship Jerry begun over 40 years ago.
Together the father-son team has built new homes as far south as Prior Lake, west as Delano and east as Woodbury. You’ll find active TC Homes communities in Otsego and Delano and custom homes built in Maple Grove, Lino Lakes, Champlin, Brooklyn Park, Rogers, Otsego, Albertville and Hugo. Single family homes has always been the mainstay but the company has also completed multi-family projects in Otsego, Robbinsdale, Rogers and Burnsville.
